This year's IWIED theme is #EngineeringIntelligence. How do you think you show #EngineeringExcellence in your work?

I coordinate CPD sessions for the Manchester Structures team to ensure the team remains up to date with industry developments, best practice and current guidance.

So much has changed in the 50 years since Cundall was founded. What changes would you like to see in the next 50 years, and how do you think we'll get there?

I would love to see more women in senior management roles by promoting equal opportunities and encouraging girls to pursue engineering from an early age.

What’s a myth about your role that you’d love to bust?

There is a myth that graduates are not given much responsibility; however, this has not been my experience at Cundall. I feel like I am a valued member of the team and believe I make a meaningful contribution to project work.

What’s one experience or milestone in your career that shaped who you are today?

The independent site visits I have undertaken have played a significant part in shaping who I am today, helping me become more confident and knowledgeable in my role.
